Cornelsen can offer a range of vapour treatment solutions suitable for most soil and groundwater remediation applications.  These solutions range from vapour phase carbon treatment systems, both our own vessels and now through our strategic partnership with Jacobi Carbons, the range of Jacobi Vessel Site Swap our service, through Catalytic Oxidisers and Biofiltration systems.

A simple cost benefit analysis based on the contaminant type and concentration and, most importantly, the expected mass removal can be undertaken to determine the optimum treatment concentrations.  Generally, for example, concentrations of petroleum hydrocarbons expected to be at or in excess of 3 or 4 g/m3 for a prolonged duration are likely to lead to the specification of a Catalytic Oxidiser.
