Focused Source Zone Electric Resistive Heating and Multi Phase Extraction Remedy on a Former Car park
The UK's first electrical resistance heating (ERH) project, we were delighted to receive recognition at the Brownfield Awards through Geosyntec's excellent submission to the "Best Remediation of a Smaller Site. Working with Geosyntec, our Thermal Alliance Partner TRS Inc. and ERS Ltd this was a challenging project undertaken in Scotland during the height of the Covid pandemic in 2020 with complex hydrogeology and complex travel conditions and supply chain issues.
Despite these difficulties the objectives were met, and the project was completed, within the scheduled time frame. Few other remediation technologies can achieve such an effective result in such a short time period (operational period 15 weeks).
